Distance: 2.24 miles RT

Elevation Gain: 1196 ft
I marked this trail as strenuous for several reasons:
1. The trail is not well marked, and it is easy to take the wrong path.
2. The path is overgrown with vegetation in areas.
3. Depending on the time of year, you may need to cross several small streams.
4. The trail is not well traveled, so you may find yourself all alone with poor cell coverage.
When you make it to the top, there is a nice flat spot to rest or camp and the remnants of rail cars still exist. I believe there are 3 abandoned mines in total, but I’ve only seen the one so far.
