Mount Olympus

Distance: 4.88 miles round trip (I didn’t make it to the top)
Time: 4 hour
Start: Wasatch Blvd
Difficulty: Strenuous
Elevation Gain: 2781 ft

I hiked this with a co-worker visiting from Manila, Philippians. We started around 4pm and wanted to get down before it got dark, so unfortunately we didn’t make it to the top. I understand that the last section is more difficult and includes scrambling over rocks. This hike is in the sun frequently so bring a lot of water and some snacks. The beginning is also very steep so your calf muscles may start feeling the burn. Don’t give up because there are some great views of the value and the switchbacks make it much easier to climb.
